”I always thought it was impossible to solve a Rubik's Cube. Thanks to this program, I was able to learn how to solve it in less than an hour. Not only did I feel like a genius, I also learned to be more confident in myself.

Simplifying life by solving life’s Rubik’s Cube.
Life Is Like A Rubik’s Cube is designed to teach students how to solve the twists and turns of life by teaching them how to solve the twists and turns of the Rubik’s Cube. Too many people overcomplicate the Rubik's Cube and associate being able to solve it with being a genius, and not enough people realize that everyone has a genius inside of them.
Our mission is to extract the genius from people and Simplify Life by Simplifying the Rubik’s Cube. We have developed 5 steps to solving a Rubik’s Cube and that mirror 5 steps to solving life. Learn more about our 5 steps below.
Discover 5 StepsHere are the 5 steps to solving life's Rubik's Cube.
Step 1: Believe In Yourself
Before we can accomplish anything we must first believe in our ability to do so. It is unbelievable the number of people who pick up the Rubik’s Cube and immediately rule themselves out with some variation of “I can’t do this” or “This is too hard!” The most difficult part of solving the Rubik’s Cube is to have the confidence that you can do it. That is why Confucius famously said, “He who says he can and he who says he can’t are both usually right.”
Step 2: Solve Your Cross
After we believe, the second step is to solve your cross. This means to establish a strong WHY that will keep you fighting and pushing in this journey called ‘life’. The storms of life will happen. They can knock you off your game completely if you let it. Your WHY must be strong enough to prevent you from quitting. “He who has a WHY to live can bear almost any HOW.” – Friedrich Nietzsche
Step 3: Fill In Your Corners
After we solve our cross, the third step is to fill in our corners. This means that we immerse ourselves in a nurturing environment. We are an average of the people that we surround ourselves with. Thus, if we want to have a quality life, we must surround ourselves with only quality people. In addition to our peers, we must ensure that what we listen to and what we watch both promote a positive environment. Zig Ziglar once stated, “You are what you are and where you are because of what you allow to go into your mind, and if you want to change what you are and change where you are then you must change what you allow to go into your mind.”
Step 4: Take It To The Next Level
The fourth step is to continue to grow and continue to get better each and every day. The day that we stop growing and bettering ourselves is the day that we begin to just take up space on this planet. This is why Benjamin Franklin once said, “Many people die at twenty-five and aren’t buried until they are seventy-five.”
Step 5: See The Bigger Picture
The last step to solving a Rubik’s Cube is to see the bigger picture. This means to stay focused on the goals that you have set for yourself. Life will bring a plethora of trials of and tribulations. You must still prevail. You must still accomplish your goals and aspirations despite what trials and tribulations life throws your way. As a matter of fact, it is our duty to turn our trials and tribulations into triumphs. Trials teach us what we are. They dig up the soil and let us see what we are made of.
Bonus Step: Don’t Take The Stickers Off
There are no shortcuts in life. If you try and take the stickers off the Rubik’s Cube, then you will end up with a ruined Rubik’s Cube. In the same way, if you try and take the stickers off in life, then you will only end up with a rough life. Follow the steps of solving the Rubik’s Cube for solving life, and you will learn how to solve the Rubik’s Cube inside of you.

“At first solving the Rubik's Cube was one of most confusing, frustrating thing when you are first learning to solve. After getting used to the cube I realized that it was complicated, but also simple. All I had to do was follow the steps. It took me 3 days to finally get it done.”

Whether it is his facilitation of workshops or vision board classes that enable the students to actualize and focus on their future dreams and endeavors, Mr. Standifer is extremely altruistic, concerned, and compassionate as it relates to the impression, influence, and inspiration he has on the youth here at Heart to Heart Christian Academy.”
Ms. Natalia Mack, PrincipalHeart to Heart Christian Academy“Learning to solve a Rubik's Cube changed my life for the better. When I first saw a Rubik's Cube, I thought to myself, "I could never solve this puzzle". I always doubted myself, but a friend told me that I should learn. I had nothing better to do, so I joined the Rubik's Cube Club. What learning to solve a Rubik's Cube has done to my life is that it has helped me look at challenges and think that I can complete any challenge that comes my way.”
Joshua F.High School Student“Mr. Standifer is a visionary who is a hard worker, who stays focused on his goals and who uses his tenacity to overcome any challenges that come his way. One of my favorite workshops that he offers teaches students how to solve a Rubik’s Cube. He has offered this workshop at my nonprofit's "Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. Annual STEM Career Fair and Exhibition" in Atlanta, GA. This workshop is one of the favorites among the attendees and one that we look forward to having at the event every year.”
Ms. Tokiwa T. Smith, Founder and Executive DirectorScience, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link)“When I first started to learn how to solve Rubik's Cube, I felt as though I wasn’t smart enough or didn’t have the analyzation skills required. However, as time continued on, I saw myself catching on and quickly learning the different patterns used to solve the Rubik's Cube in a faster and more efficient way. It was riveting learning each step, and I never once was allowed to doubt myself. Mr. Standifer was by my side patiently helping me every step of the way. I can say that I honestly appreciate him taking his time out to teach me how to solve it because I did take longer than others. Now that I know how to solve it, I feel as though with time and effort, I can solve any puzzle or problem that comes my way - no matter the difficulty.”
Anikka M.Middle School Student“When I first picked up a Rubik's Cube, I didn’t think I would be able to solve it. I was doubting myself because I didn’t believe. “Life is Like a Rubik’s Cube” really motivated me and made me believe in myself. There were 4 main steps I had to follow in order for me to solve it. After a few days of following those steps, it was possible for me to solve something I would’ve never thought I would be able to solve.”
